May 18th, Bay to Breaker Race , San Francisco
San Francisco is one of the most liberal city in the states. Bay to Breaker race is sort of like Beijing Marathon race. The difference is people never give up any opportunity to goof around.
This race is only 12KM, serious runners finished within 30 minutes to 40 minutes. But the race last for about 4 hours. Most followers even don't bother to run. They were in different groups, and each group has a theme. They wore costumes and drag a beer chart, drinking and playing. Three hours after, almost everybody on the street get drunk.
There are some interesting themes. The first astonishing one is a naked group. There are also some other group like diaper group, bride group, etc.
